Journey of Discovery for Families and Loved Ones is a 9-part self-guided Internet resource that builds on a body of work called Validation, developed by Naomi Feil, M.S., A.C.S.W..

The National Director of Memory Care Services for Sunrise Senior Living, Rita Altman, R.N., B.S.N., is one of four Validation Masters worldwide. Her knowledge and desire to educate caregivers so they can more effectively with those affected by dementia drove the development of "Journey of Discovery".
